It was decided last night at the Club to run the
Championship"25" tonight because the one on 20th June was cancelled due to bad weather. However because of the road works it was decided to run it on an unspecified length - about 14.208 miles based on average speed and the recorded distances for the 25. Keith Williams has had problems with his computer so it might take a while to update the website and to see more fantastic photographs. Very hot night and it was a 14+mile sprint with no time to rest and I did it just pipping Mr Massen (complete with summer cold) to the win. Kieran is in Mallorca and Arthur is on a date with his wife so a bit of a hollow victory. Next year we hope to have 5 x 25's with the best 3 from 5 counting which we think would be fairer. John Williamson made his 14 debut tonight and he said it was hard, wondering where the easy bit was! Thanks to John Leach for report ( webmaster now back online)
