Weather Conditions: - Cool, windy but dry as fortunately the rain held off.
We had a total of 14 riders representing the Merseyside Wheelers, Prescot Eagle R.C, Phoenix C.C, Kirkby C.C and the St Helens C.R.C.
There were 2 ladies riding and the fastest was Linda Tully – Kirkby C.C.
Of the men riding the fastest rider was John O’Callaghan – Kirkby C.C.
There was support along the route from members of the above clubs.
The timekeepers were John Clarke and Kit Carson from the Merseyside Wheelers with Jimmy Hassan – signing on stewart and Paul Olson – ‘holder upper’ also from the Merseyside Wheelers.
Thanks go to the Manager of the ‘Prince William Pub’ for allowing us to use his Car Park to gather at the finish. John C
