Weather Conditions: - Cool, windy but dry as fortunately
the rain held off.
We had a total of 14 riders representing the Merseyside Wheelers, Prescot
Eagle R.C, Phoenix C.C, Kirkby C.C and the St Helens C.R.C.
There were 2 ladies riding and the fastest was Linda Tully – Kirkby
C.C.
Of the men riding the fastest rider was John O’Callaghan –
Kirkby C.C.
There was support along the route from members of the above clubs.
The timekeepers were John Clarke and Kit Carson from the Merseyside Wheelers
with Jimmy Hassan – signing on stewart and Paul Olson – ‘holder
upper’ also from the Merseyside Wheelers.
Thanks go to the Manager of the ‘Prince William Pub’ for allowing
