Another fine night with the S.easterly still with us. Head
into the wind down the lane but easier towards the motorway but after that
the deceptive twists and turns on the by-pass more or less cancelled out any
benefit from the wind direction.
BUT.. we did have a fast finish and I think we all enjoyed battering it back
down the lane to the finish line.
Once again the TT bug has bitten Wellheld and he is demolishing the ten and
now the 25 course with a formidable time of 1:02:13. Well done wellheld but
watch out for that glutaeus maximous seizing up on you. You need a nice masseuse.
Arthur was under the hour with his brakes on... 59:52. He was not happy with
his Cervelo due to his rear wheel moving forward and rubbing the frame for
most of the 25 miles.
Keith was just not in gear tonight and dropped back a minute from his previous
25 with a 1:05:14.
I'm sure we have some great photos but I was unable to collect them from our
roving photographer Keith Linge. They should appear here late tomorrow evening.
