Wind, wind and more wind. Tonight is off the Beaufort scale.

Before I go on I have some bad news about Super Keith. Last night he came off his bike on the way home from work and is quite badly hurt. He doesn't quite know what happeand but it looks like the front forks failed (see picture). Luckily no broken bones but he was taken to A&E to get stitched up and is in a fair bit of pain.

Back to the racing, this is how it went down.

Mike turned up out of the blue which was a nice surprise. He's not been too well and wasn't expecting to do great but I think he surprised himself 27.29. Young Mike has much more in the tank yet and I look forward to reporting sub 23's.

Arthur made some gains this week. I don't know if it was the thought of me chasing him down but in less than perfect conditions he cruised to a 22.28.

Chris isn't riding again but turned up at the start for a chat. He told me his road bike was completely wedged in behind his dad's car in the dark depths of the garage. I'm sure he'll be back. After, he went down to see Keith and took him some chochies. Good lad.
